“Too tightened tie can lead to blindness”, announced American scientists.
Researchers say that tightened up tie presses against the jugular vein and has strong pressure on the eye-ground that leads to the development of glaucoma, which then can completely blind a person.
For example, British Journal of Ophthalmology reports that approximately three-quarters of men start loosing their eye-sight right after they begin wearing a tie.
During the investigations researchers tested a lot of men wearing a tie. As a result, it became clear that everyone, in varying degrees, has developing glaucoma.
It is noted that 65% of men who wear a tie, glaucoma has been developed and 70% among healthy men are likely to be affected.
